lyrics

I've got a message for the man who wears the red bow (that’s you)
I wrote it with some ink that matches, yeah, and now I wanted you to know
Your thoughts and interest were something close to cute
But I remember very well my interest made your desires moot
There was a time when you were happy in your place (stay in your place)
You sat in confidence that standing in my confidence was grace
Now I'm sorry that your love for what we had
Fell victim to the classic trait of wanting so much more than what you had
And now I'm glad...

I have found you out (Who’s Got Who)
And I have no doubt (Who’s Got Who)
In time you will see (Who’s Got Who)
Your life still belongs to me
Thought you could run and hide
On the other side
Well, I really hate to burst your bubble
Look out baby here comes trouble

I've got a message for the lady in the pink bow (that’s you)
I wrote it with a book of matches, yeah,
you won’t believe it til you see it that that ink glows
Your hopes and dreams were nice and sweet but frankly weak
And I grew more embarrassed as my heart betrayed the color of my cheek
You were the perfect puppet that I kept on a noose (stay in your place)
To prove that ignorance was something more or less that I could use
But when the strings I held were begged to be let go
You took it all upon yourself to hold the strings thus wallow down below
Now you should know...

I have found you out (Who’s Got Who)
I have no doubt (Who’s Got Who)
In time you will see (Who’s Got Who)
Your life still belongs to me

Remember now a time
When we saw eye to eye
What's yours is mine and I, I am Devine
Although I sometimes reminisce
There are these things I'll never miss
I'll prove my point with this
That though I really hate to burst your bubble
Look out baby here comes trouble

I've got a message and it's not one that you want to hear
But I'll admit the very content has me grinning ear to ear
It took me moments of perception to discover:
My former partners were now partners,
thus they both must die with one another
And did I cover, THAT I really hate to burst your bubble?
Look out baby, here I come
