Inspired by the classic noir film style, the album is an energetic rock opera of gangsters, vampires, betrayal and petty revenge set against the seedy underbelly of the post-prohibition era. The story follows anti-heroes turned reluctant partners Archie Walker and Josie Belue on their quest to topple kingpin Harold “The Diamond” Helsinger from the throne of his bootlegging empire, as chronicled by private investigator, Max Rudolph.

Signed by the band, includes access to the 44-page digital companion booklet.

lyrics

You must be out of your mind
Well I may be crazy but I sure as hell ain’t too blind
To be aware of what you refuse to see
I DO THIS FOR ME
I was ambitious and bored
I only had too many things that I was good at for sure
Blood, money, sex and war
Still I wanted

(MORE) To feed my appetite and
(MORE) It’d make me feel alright and
(MORE) To give the world a fright and
(MORE) To satisfy my nights and
(I) Will do whatever it takes
(WANT) To show you all your mistakes
(MORE) And now I’m raising the stakes
And I’ll sing

Finders keepers
Come meet the reapers
Thicker than water
Welcome to the slaughter

I’ll fight you to my last breath
And then I’ll show you that even in death I will persevere
Now hear, the words you refuse to hear
You will disappear

I’ll do whatever it takes
To show you all your mistakes
And now I’m raising the stakes
To prove that
Although you were unstoppable the fact is it was probable
That I’d become impossible and you’d become an obstacle
And we’d be unresolvable ‘til one of us was volatile
Just enough to see which one of us would win or die

Finders keepers
Come meet the reapers
Thicker than water
Welcome to the slaughter

I want your blood, I want your cup
I to pour you out and I to lap you up
I want your life I want your death
I want your heart and I want your breath
I can’t decide, which is the best
Take what I want, and leave all the rest
I have what I need, but what about the greed
I don’t need it but I want it so I’ll take it now I’ve got it

Finders keepers
Come meet the reapers
Thicker than water
Welcome to the slaughter
